I have been a corporate affairs consultant since 2006, working with companies who appreciate the value of outsourcing administrative responsibilities. My background is comprised of roles in the natural resources and financial services sectors.
As Manager of Corporate Communications at Vanguard Shareholder Solutions I was responsible for communications strategies for an investor relations team working with publicly traded companies. Here, I handled information management and media tracking, proposal development, client and industry research and research analysis, website development and updating, and monthly client reporting.
As Licensed Broker’s Assistant for Canaccord Capital Corporation, I provided personalized service for a range of select clientele. Here, my role included conflict resolution, information management, and stock trading.
I began my career at TD Greenline discount brokerage (now TD Waterhouse), working in Sales Prequalification providing vital client information and managing a high volume of client contact.
I’m passionate about my work, continually upgrading my knowledge through education. I have successfully completed BCIT’s International Management Program, SFU’s Public Companies course, TSX Venture Success Workshops (including Venture Filing Fundamentals and Mining Company Disclosure Fundamentals), the Canadian Securities Institute’s Canadian Securities and Conduct and Practices and finally, UBC’s Mining 101.
To each role I take on, I bring my diverse skill portfolio and singular ability to enable my clients to focus on their core business.
